History

1990’s

Four DuPont engineers with a strong background in the application of statistics and Artificial Intelligence to manufacturing operations,  develop statistical forecasting and inventory planning algorithms to improve DuPont’s customer demand signals. The models take into account, among many other variables, supply and demand lead times and their distribution. LeadTime Technology™ (LTT) base technology is developed, patented and implemented at several internal DuPont businesses as well as at select DuPont customers.

1998

Shipman Enterprises (SEI) is formed as the DuPont engineers take the knowledge and technology to the open market with approved use of the patented technology. Custom designed solutions are offered for the manufacturing industry and the new company begins to build a library of inventory optimization algorithms.

2000

The tools are extended to the Jewelry industry to help track high value inventory.

2003

A major development project is launched to institutionalize the code and convert it to .NET. Full bi-directional integration with APO is demonstrated.

2004

Shipman Enterprises (SEI) formally changes its name to Lead Time Technology, Inc. to better represent the value brought to the supply chain marketplace.

The company’s Enterprise software version is officially released.

2006

The company introduces its Product Wheel™ tools for optimization of high capacity assets.

2007

The company continues product developments and releases Fast Forward™, and the Planning Board.  The company forms partnership for development and sales with ColdCypress, hires a Supply Chain experienced veteran to the board of director and begins a partnership relationship with Microsoft in Supply chain area.

2008

Company introduced Product Wheel calculator tool
